Kelly Magyarics, DWS, is a wine, spirits and lifestyle writer and wine educator. Her travels have given her the opportunity to taste Gewurztraminer at the foot of the Dolomites in Italy's Alto Adige region, craft her own gin at the Plymouth Distillery in England, foot tread grapes in a traditional lagar in Portugal's Douro Valley, and explore the volcanic ash vineyards on Greece's breathtaking island of Santorini.

Kelly has been offering interactive, educational wine tastings and classes for private and corporate groups for more than thirteen years. She has extensive wine and spirits knowledge and training, including holding the Diploma of Wine Studies (DWS) from the renowned Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). She is also BarSmarts certified, and holds the Wine Location Specialist certification from the Center for Wine Origins. Kelly also completed Kevin Zraly's Windows on the World School in New York City, as well as a series of Master classes offered by the Sommelier Society of America.

Kelly's articles appear in a variety of national and regional consumer and trade publications including Wine Enthusiast, Cheers, The Tasting Panel, Nightclub & BarDC Magazine, Washington Post Express, Los Angeles Travel Magazine, DC Refined and Washington Life. Kelly Tweets on  @kmagyarics, and also posts on Instagram @kmagyarics.

Kelly and her company have been featured in several Washington, DC media outlets. Her business was profiled in the “Making It” column of The Washington Post’s Sunday Magazine. She appears on wine- and cocktail-related segments on DC’s Fox 5WUSA 9 CBSNews Channel 8 and Let's Talk Live, and she has appeared on WTOP radio’s “Dishing It Out.” She has served as a celebrity judge for the Old Ebbitt Grill’s annual “Wines with Oysters” competition, and was a judge for the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association's annual wine competition. She also moderated "The Business of Booze" speaker series for DC Industree.
