Ready for an Easter Egg Hunt?

Just in time for the fuzzy one's arrival, here's a recipe courtesy of Bradley Dawson of Belly Timber in Portland, OR. When you can't decide between sipping wine or spirits, a wine cocktail like this one fits the bill. Dawson told me just like with any good cocktail, the key to a great wine cocktail is balance. H suggests enjoying the Easter Egg Hunt all by itself, or alongside Belly Timber's Cucumber Fennel Bulb Salad. Sounds like a great suggestion for Sunday's dinner.

Easter Egg Hunt

3 oz. Spanish Verdejo
1 oz. of Hendricks or 12 Bridges Gin
1/2 oz. simple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters

Stir gently in large flute or trumpet. Serve with a large lemon twist.
