I'm a sucker for a good glass of eggnog...extra creamy and just subtly spicy. I usually spike it with rum, though since I happen to have a lot of great quality Boubons right now, I've been reaching for them as well. Heck, it's so yummy that sometimes I just drink it n/a.
I also happen to love the creamy flavor of coconut milk. That's why I was excited to come across this coconutty holiday cocktail on DonQ Rum's blog, which they are touting as the Puerto Rican version of eggnog. Considering we got almost 2 feet of snow in the DC area this past weekend, anything that can make me feel like I'm on the islands can't be bad... Though I'm sure it tastes best with DonQ spirits, if you're snowed in like me and happen to have other brands on hand, I'm sure it's still very delicious.
Enjoy, and check out their blog for more great recipes:
