Never mind the tax deadline, enjoy Brabo's Ridge Vineyards wine dinner on April 15
On April 15 at 7 PM, Executive Chef Robert Wiedmaier will present a spring-inspired four-course menu, while Leah Dedmon, wine and beverage manager of Brabo offers up the perfect pairings from the Ridge Vineyards portfolio. Brabo will host Eric Baugher, vice president and winemaker of Ridge Vineyards (Monte Bello), who will discuss the intricacies of Zinfandels and their differences based on terroir. California's Ridge Vineyards has locations in Santa Clara County and Sonoma County, CA, and its approach to winemaking focuses on natural, ecologically sustainable farming and fermentation rather than technological approaches. Ridge Vineyards is a Napa Valley Icon, specializing in premium Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Chardonnays. The winery is known for their excellent single-estate wines, which often stand up to the best of Bordeaux, not only in new releases but also in aging. This wine dinner will be a unique opportunity to taste a wide variety of Ridge’s single-estate Zinfandel’s, and is sure to spark a lively discussion facilitated by Baugher, who will help guests discern the intricate differences.
