Unleaded Cocktails at Adour
For those who crave seasonality and freshness in a thirst quencher--without the alcohol--Adour has got you covered. The bar at the St. Regis hotel in Washington, D.C. recently started serving a monthly rotation of house-made drinks sans alcohol. Wine Director Brent Kroll created the recipe for the Cucumber Limeade, which is currently being served at Adour throughout the month of July. Brent’s non-alcoholic drinks will be available year-round, changing seasonally to reflect the latest flavors and freshest ingredients at the time. You can make this into a house made soda by either carbonating the limeade with a Soda Stream, or topping off the drink with a little club soda.

3 oz limeade (see recipe below) 1 oz cucumber juice 1 sliced cucumber garnish Optional additional garnish of fresh herbs such as basil of mint if desired
For the limeade: Combine ¾ oz fresh lime juice, 1.5 oz spring water and ¾ oz. simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water boiled until sugar dissolves)
