Amala-inspired Rejuvenate cocktail at the Four Seasons

Recently, the spa at the Four Seasons Hotel in D.C. started using plant-based products from Germany's Amala Beauty in some of their facial treatments. Amala's four lines include one called Rejuvenate, whose products include cocoa beans, known for their ability to stimulate cell renewal and circulation, to help smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles, firm and redensify skin, and restore elasticity.

Duane Sylvestre, mixologist at the adjacent Bourbon Steak, created a cocktail inspired by Amala's Rejuvenate Serum for the product launch. Lillet Blanc lends lightness, lemon brightens and Crème de Cacao White lends a whiff of chocolate scent--just like in the serum. This cocktail isn't available at the Four Seasons, but you can easily whip up one at home. It's a light option for summertime entertaining.

For more about Amala, read my recent Washington Life article.
