Featured Cocktail: The 1600 Penn
Now that the election is over, all eyes in Washington are turned to the upcoming Inauguration and surrounding ceremonies. Bars in the District and beyond are creating political potables inspired by Barack Obama's win and upcoming second Presidential term. The 1600 Penn at the Park Hyatt stirs Bourbon and dry Vermouth with a reduction made from Porter from local brewery Port City in Alexandria, and BLiS maple syrup, aged in Bourbon barrels.
