Featured Cocktail: Sage & Pineapple
No matter if you are traveling or staying home this Labor Day, you have a long, leisurely weekend to enjoy cocktails with friends and usher out the unofficial end of summer. And since the modern interpretation of the spirit of Labor Day is "rest and relaxation," whip up a batch of libations made with Reposado (aka "rested") Tequila. By Mexican regulations, Reposado Tequila must be aged a minimum of two months, but less than one year, in oak barrels of any size. Don Julio's Sage & Pineapple is a perfect summer-to-fall fringe season tipple. House made sage liqueur lends a unique herbal element, while lime and pineapple let you hang onto summer just a little bit longer. For even more pineapple flavor, use pineapple sage, a variety of the herb that with large, bright green leaves that pack a tangy pineapple aroma and flavor.
